We're not responsible for any internal cracked after receiving, any damage caused during transportation covered by insurance.  The buyer is responsible for the shipping cost of a replacement tube if the order date is out of 30 days. Warranty acceptance or denial is subjected to the decision made by the tube manufacturers. Lightobject is not responsible for a denial under any circumstance.

The goal of the following agreement is to help you (end-user) to prolong the tube's life and understand the tube's warranty.

1.Operation of Tube

a.To avoid overdriving the laser tube, the working current mA must not exceed:

<=45W 16mA

<=50W 18mA

<=60W 20mA

<=90W 26mA

<=130W 28mA

<=150W 30mA

If your system doesn’t have an ammeter, you should add one for the laser tube. Overdriving the tube will shorten the tube's life.

b.There is a window at the laser output end of the tube. Using Acetone to clean that optics can damage it. For long term storage, use clean bag to cover the output window from dust.

c.The use of a proper water chiller is required. Please check it on laser tube product description.

d.Avoid soldering the highvoltage or ground connections to the tube, which could cause gas to leak at the connection joints.

e.Make sure there is no air bubble trapped inside the laser tube when water chiller is on. Bubble area can heat up and cause the glass to crack.

2.Voiding Warranty Policy

a.After overdriving a laser tube, the cathode(negative) side of the tube will show signs of yellow/purple color on the metal ring.

b.If the tube shows internal crack or internal white powder, this could mean the chiller was not on or didn’t have adequate cooling capacity, air bubble was trapped or ice was formed.

c.If the tube cracks after 3 months, it is not considered any manufacturer defect, and manufacturer warranty will not cover it.

d. Use of inadequate water cooling/chiller on laser tube will void the warranty.

3.Claim Procedure

a.Contact us as soon as possible, have the order number or serial number of the tube. We need to verify if the tube is still under warranty.

b.If the laser tube is deemed bad by our technician, you will need to send us pictures/videos as requested. We will forward them to the manufacturer for claim. The claim for tubes takes anywhere from 1-2 weeks. If the claim is approved by the manufacturer, you will need to crack the tube and take pictures. Then a replacement will be shipped.

Please contact us if you have any question.
