This is a specail straight-through DC submersible water pump with moderate pressure output. It can be used submersible or it can run dry as long as water is flowing. It's built by a brushless motor so that it's quieter and last longer than a non-brushless water pump. Plus,it will not generate any 'electric spark' (noise) like a brush type motor does.

Power: DC12V
Output: 9L/m (142GPH) @12V
Vertical cut off: 3.6m (11.5ft)

I've used a few of these little pumps and like them. They seem reliable, don't use much power and are compact, easy to install. My only gripe is that they sometimes leak - the o-ring on the end opposite the impeller either falls out (I just had one where it was broken in half and laying inside the pump). I remove the o-ring and seal the joint with some 3M 5200 (water resistant sealant). Of course you'll never get it apart after that, but who cares?

nice pump, powerfull too but sometimes they leak because the o ring is out of place or broken, i knew that was their weak spot so i gleud them with patex contact glue into place, the ones i tested seems to be leaking free now. they are good pumps but the o ring is their weak point i suggest to test them and if they leak they are easy to fix. positive point is that they are very silent and powerfull. nice pump for lets say the coolers for lab distilation equipment or water cooled pc towers
